Marc Vlieger is a professional Belgian-Dutch Heavyweight Muay-Thai/Kickboxing and MMA fighter.

He was born in Kolwezi (Luabala Province), in the South of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Currently living in Brussels, Belgium and training at VALON TEAM and DA VINCI FIGHTING. 

On april 24, 2010, Marc participated at K-1 WGP Selection 2010 Heavyweight Tournament in Istanbul, Turkey.
He knocked out Mutlu Karabulut with right hand in the quarter final, but he was beaten by Vitaly Shemetov by TKO in the semi final.

In 2011 Marc was invited to take part in the second season of the Enfusion reality show involving eighteen of the some of the world's top Muaythai fighters with 95 kg max with a first place prize of $40,000. Marc won his first elimination fight in Koh Samui, Thailand against Martin Jahn. In his second match, losing to Frank Munoz by decision.

In December 2012, Marc earned by submission in his promotional debut at FIGHT NIGHTS promotion in Russia.

In January 2013, for his training camp Marc joined Jackson's MMA in Alburquerque to reach a higher level in his career 

Besides being a top fighter, Marc Vlieger is also real estate agent. Him and his wife have three children. 

In May 2015, Vlieger signed a multi-fight deal with South African based promotion EFC (Extrem Fighting Championship). 
Marc Vlieger retires from MMA after loss to Tumelo Maphutha at EFC 42.

After four years of innactivity Vlieger is back on track at UAE WARRIORS 9 November 29th.
In his promotional debut at UAE WARRIORS, Marc earned by Rear Naked Choke R1 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
